Presentation
Bordered by majestic holm oaks (Quercus Ilex), Château Quilex is now the pride and joy of François BERUD and his children (Nicolas, Frédéric and Caroline), heirs to a family tradition rooted in their love of the land and wine. Initiated by grandfather Charles, then developed by his parents Henri and Odile, the estate has grown with passion and know-how. François, a passionate agronomist open to innovation, was the first to vinify a Côtes du Rhône Villages GADAGNE on this unique terroir.
The estate covers 14 hectares, 8 of which are classified as Côtes-du-Rhône Villages Gadagne. Annual production is 300 hectoliters (+/- 35,000 bottles).

Tasting
Robe: dark deep color, with purple hints. Bouquet: powerful and complex nose, with aromas of red fruits (blackcurrant) and spices. Palate: roundness in the mouth thanks to silky tannins with a melted aromatic complex of small fruits, spices and liquorice. Nice aromatic persistence.
Food pairings
Enjoy with meat in sauce, barbecued prime rib, mature cheeses or a Provencal tian. Or even as an aperitif!
