The Château Quilex 2022 is a red wine from the Côtes-du-Rhône Villages Gadagne appellation, produced by Demazet Vignobles in the southern Rhône Valley, France. The estate spans 14 hectares, with 8 hectares classified under the Gadagne appellation, and yields approximately 35,000 bottles annually . The estate is currently owned by François Berud, a passionate agronomist, and was specially selected for its homogeneity. The vineyards, situated on a plateau, constitute the region's most exposed cultivated surface, benifiting from the sun and wind.

Traditional vinification methods are employed, including long maceration periods to extract deep flavors.

Tasting
Dark deep garnet color. Powerful and complex nose, with aromas of ripe fruits and spices (white pepper) with a hint of garrigue. The palate is rounded, featuring soft tannins and a harmonious blend of small fruits (black cherry, blackberry), spices and sweet liquorice, culminating in a persistent aromatic finish. A warm wine with a lovely sweetness.
Food pairings
This wine pairs well with grilled meats, meats in sauce, roast beef, fresh and hard cheeses.
