Seigneur du carri

Story

The wine
This special cuvée is named after the traditional Carri festival, which takes place every 25 years in the village of Mazan.
"Carri" may be translated as "cart" or "wagon"; the festival involves a procession of over 100 horses, drawing floats which carry around 200 passengers dressed in costumes from the time of Louis XV. The most recent edition of the festival, recreating a lordly court in Provence, took place in July 2010.
Vinification
Completely de-stemmed grape harvest. After fermentation, the wine was aged in vats for 12 months.

Grenache noir
Syrah
